The Device Partner Sales (DPS) team plays a critical role as part of the Global Partner Solutions organization to achieve Microsoft’s mission to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. We build, market and sell edge and cloud devices and solutions with our broad partner ecosystem that includes OEMs, IoT and Mixed Reality device manufacturers, device distribution channels, original design manufacturers, and Silicon providers. We work closely with our device ecosystem and internal business groups to innovate with device partners, transform how we sell devices and services with partners and build devices that consume our cloud.

Responsibilities
We are seeking a Director of Business Strategy & Operations for DPS to work across the organization with accountability for strategy and planning, sales excellence, compliance, systems & tools, comprehensive Rhythm of the Business and executive engagements, Partner Satisfaction, and operations to enable us to accelerate our growth and impact. The person in this role is the trusted advisor to the DPS leader DPS and is a key partner to the extended leadership team and GPS’ executive office. This person will advance our cross-group strategy on key initiatives, collaborating with and influencing stakeholders across Microsoft including marketing, engineering, finance and operations. This leader plays a pivotal role in the culture, pursuit of excellence and strategic growth of our people and our business

- Contribute to Organization Design and planning including Blueprint and Opex accountability that will enable us to achieve our business objectives
Business Operations:
- DPS business management strategy: this person is the business manager for the DPS Leader and is the community leader for the DPS Business Managers. Additionally, this role plays a critical part in GPS’ overall business management office, led by GPS’ Chief-of-Staff
- Accountable for the Rhythm of the Business (ROB), business insights and all planning milestones
- Accountable to partner with CoS, Finance and DPS LT for fiscal year planning including budget, headcount and organizational change management
- Own the comprehensive CPE (Customer and Partner Experience) process, ensuring strong participation and engagement internally and externally with actionable insights to drive improvements in partner satisfaction
- Be the Center of Excellence for DPS compliance, engaging with key stakeholders across the company to ensure high integrity operations
- Architect the messaging and planning for key internal deliverables including SLT presentations and monthly business reviews
- Own the DPS strategy and logistics for cross organization and cross company events such as Amp, Inspire and Ready. (Both in-person and digital events)
